My family has always been really into Frida Kahlo. We are inspired by her art, her style, and personality. My sister decided that her daughter would make a really cute interpretation of Frida. It was really fun seeing it all come together and the costume turned out perfectly. This photo was taken around Halloween of last year. My niece, Mia, will be one year old in just a few days.

I graduated from Towson University in 2009 with a Bachelor's in painting and have rarely picked up a brush since then.
